Dialog,…blah, blah, blah
Hey Giggle horse friends and fans of Absolute Zero! I have had a super busy week, and next week does not look any slower. I’ve been adding some of the interactive dialog using the Legend Game editor. If you aren’t familiar with what Legend is, you can read about it here Legend Adventure Game Editor
So, as you can see below, I create dialog for various sections of the scene that you can interact with. Then I inserted it using Legend’s dialog editor. Piece of cake!

That way, when you are playing Absolute Zero, and you want to look, listen, smell, taste, or use something that generates a dialog, it will look like this.

If you read the blog concerning the prototype adventure game we built, you’ll know how much I hate pixel hunting. You can read that here: Dave’s Diner Prototype Game Blog
So, just like in “Dave’s Diner”, there is a similar hint system so that you don’t have to scan every scene to find what you’re looking for. See below…
Middle Mouse = Things you can look at.
Well, that's about what I got done this week. I have to move, in two weeks, and then I’m going to kick it into high gear!
